An Ornate, Yet Comfortable Space

Over the past century, the Madison Room & Bar in The Palace’s famed Villard Mansion has set the scene for the most important of occasions. This landmark room now serves up an enticing menu of bistro-style cuisine, offering an eclectic choice of appetizers, entrées and tempting desserts for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

A 19th century drawing room, The Madison Room is complete with solid marble columns, vaulted ceilings, plush seating and classic artwork. Designed by Stanford White, its walls have original panels painted by P.V. Galland installed in 1891. Available for dining at any time of day, The Madison Room is sure to impress guests with its graceful decor and picturesque views of St. Patrick's Cathedral and The Palace Courtyard.
