Polished to Perfection

Here at The New York Palace, our renovations aren’t just limited to the interior of the hotel, but also to the exterior. In our post Taking Metal Polishing to Another Level, we introduced you to our Towers metal cleaning process conducted by the Stuart Dean firm. We are pleased to say that after 563 feet and 700 days of work, our sealing process is now complete!

“Refinishing our exterior was important because it improves the appearance of the hotel that has been covered in 30 years’ worth of New York City dirt and soot build-up,” says Rob Willis, Senior Project Manager of the John Hardy Group. “It’s also important because it protects the metal from corrosion that ensures it will last even longer.”
